Bihar Police Department has announced fresh recruitment for Sub Inspector post.

Exam will be conducted in two steps
Prelims and mains (both objective)
Prelims examination
 200 marks (100 questions)
Subject- General Knowledge
Minimum qualifying marks - 30%
20 times candidates will be selected for mains exam

Mains Examination

two paper:
1. Hindi Language (200marks )
2. General Knowledge and General Intelligence (200marks )
Minimum Age for Gen Candidate - 20 years
Maximum age for Gen Male Candidate - 37 years
                                                                 (40 for others + Gen Female)
                                                                  42 for ST candidates

Educational Qualification:- Candidate must have passed the degree examination from a recognized university or equivalent examination recognized by State Government.

For general Male candidates - 165 Cm
For General Female Candidates - 160 cm, 48kg weight
For OBC Female Candidates - 160 cm, 48kg weight

Chest (only for male candidates)
GENERAL / OBC candidates : 81-86 cm minimum
SC/ ST candidates : 79-84 cm Minimum
Physical test :
1 mile in 6min (male)
1 km in 6min (female)
