Final Result of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2016.

The Staff Selection Commission conducted a Re-Examination (Computer based Examination) for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 201 (Paper-I) on 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 11th June, 2016, for only those candidates who had appeared in the said examination held on 20.03.2016. The result of Paper-I was declared by the Commission on 28.07.2016. Paper-II of the said Examination was held on 18.12.2016 for those candidates who qualified in PET/PST. Result of Paper-II was declared on 31.01.2017 for short listing candidates for Medical Examination. As per result of Paper-II, 10,575(9,649-Male & 926-Female) candidates were declared qualified for appearing in Medical Examination.
2. Based on the merit-cum-preference, candidates have been finally selected and allocated to the following posts:-
A-Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police
B-Sub-Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF)
C-Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force(CISF)
D-Sub-Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF)
E-Sub-Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBPF)
F-Sub-Inspector in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
G-Assistant Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force(CISF)

Explanation of Category codes: 1-SC, 2-ST, 6-OBC, 9-UR
Explanation of Preference codes : A-SI in Delhi Police, B-SI in BSF, C-SI in CISF, D-SI in CRPF, E-SI in ITBPF, F-SI in SSB, G-ASI in CISF
Note-1: Category/Gender/Eligible post preferences of the candidates was taken from the online Verified Data sent by the Regional Offices of SSC. If candidate had not given online preference, preference of such candidates in application forms was used for result.
Note-2: Candidates who had filled Category Code-4 were considered under OBC category in Delhi Police only and not other CAPFs.
4. Resolution of Tie-Cases (as per Notice of Exam)
In case where more than one candidate secure the equal aggregates marks, tie has been resolved by applying the following methods one after another :-
(i) Total marks in written examination.
(ii) Marks in Paper-II
(iii) Marks in Paper-I
(iv) Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
(v) Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.
5. There are some candidates whose candidature has been kept as provisional by the concerned Regional Offices but are also included in the Select List. Concerned User Departments will check the eligibility of such candidates thoroughly before issuing offer of appointment. Result of 1 candidate has been withheld because of a court case.
6. The result is available on SSC’s website: http://ssc.nic.in. Marks of the candidates will be placed on the Commission's website shortly.
